After we relieved ourselves and got a cup of coffee, we started browsing the shop that was mostly filled with worthless junk and nicknacks. As we were on our way out, an old lady stopped us at the door. She began telling us this story about the local Constable that was a former Green Beret. She said that he had traveled all across the world and one of his travels took him to Bear Island-North of Norway.
While he was there, it’s said he and his men were visited by some kind of beings. They weren’t sure if they were from off planet, or from off realm. He thought maybe they were spirits from another dimension. He said they would fade in and out, almost like a radio signal gets weaker/stronger. They warned him and his men of a mass scaled event coming on 2/23/23. Details were not provided but they told the Green Berets to get as far away from the oceans as possible. The lady produced what looked like a worn official journal, and a sure as shit, everything she said was written in there and endorsed by someone claiming to be a Green Beret in the U.S. Army.
I wasn’t sure what to make of this, and the woman seemed bat shit crazy, so I forgot all about this. The other night at dinner (my now husband) brought up the old lady and her story. I was very surprised because we haven’t spoke about it all these years. He also says that every night since the New Year arrived, he’s been having dreams of of strange beings that repeat the date 2/23/23.
I wanted to share this and see if anyone else knows anything about this date, or has had a similar experience.
